A large Victorian Silver Kettle on lamp stand. The octagonal kettle standing on a decorative stand supported by four cast legs of scrolling form.The body of the kettle decorated with engraved design and having a decorative cast spout and hinged lid with ornate finial. The kettle held to the lamp stand by two silver retaining pins,one being original the other an unmarked replacement.
