A pair of Geo III silver salt cellars by Peter,Anne and William Bateman of oval boat shaped form,one side centred by a vacant cartouche and decorated with hand pierced design and bright cut engraving.The base being open with star cut blue glass fitting in and sitting on a small ledge,the underside of which bears the London Hallmarks. The pair of condiment spoons,engraved with Crest by the same makers but of an earlier date (London 1804).
